Iowa Journeyman Electrician - Data Center Project (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Workify Staffing is looking for an Iowa Journeyman Electrician for a Data Center project in the Cedar Rapids area!

Pay:
$45/hr until Iowa reciprocation is approved
$50/hr with active Iowa Journeyman license

Shift/Schedule:
Typically 12-hour days Monday through Friday with an 8-hour day on Saturday.
No Sundays.
Orientation held Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 AM. Badges are typically issued the same day.

Per Diem:
$178 per day paid 7 days per week when all scheduled shifts are worked.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, startups, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventative maintenance for electrical systems in accordance with project drawings and applicable codes.
• Execute First Time Energization (FTE), switching, AutoLOTO, load bank connections and removals, and Level 3-5 commissioning support activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and installation plans; lay out conduit, cable tray, and devices to specifications.
• Follow approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and all company safety protocols; maintain accurate work records and service documentation throughout the project.
• Support and mentor apprentices on site; coordinate effectively with Foremen, Superintendents, project management teams, and clients.
• Diagnose electrical issues, respond to service calls, recommend system improvements, complete acceptance testing, and participate in post-project reviews.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician license required, or reciprocal licensing from AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, or WY. Candidates must be reciprocated or eligible to reciprocate prior to starting. Those within 3 months of eligibility may be considered at $45/hr and must apply for reciprocation immediately upon eligibility.
• 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience and completion of an apprenticeship program.
