Promotion "Not For Resale" that was stamped on the back of the headstock prior to making its way out of the Gibson factory.
Upon research it appears that this stamp is used on prototypes or guitars that were given to artists or for display.
A nice addition to any guitar collection out there as well. These are getting hard to find and were discontinued after Chet's passing.
