We have pigs going to the locker this month. After someone backed out, we have one full pork available from the February 17th appointment. The pigs are half berkshire and half mule foot. Mule foot is a heritage breed known for their marbling and flavor. We really love the pork this cross has produced. The pigs are roughly 300 pounds live weight. We expect them to hang at approximately 225 pounds. We are selling them for $2/pound hanging weight. We will deliver the pigs to the locker. You would pay us and then settle up with the locker when the meat is picked up roughly a week after being butchered. We can get you more info on what the locker charges and how much meat to expect if you are interested. The pigs are raised on dirt lot/pasture. The fat hogs are finished on a mix we grind ourselves. They have not had any meds or growth supplements. There would be more pigs available late March or April. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. Thanks.
