This helper spring will ease the muscle needed to manually lift your attached tiller, snowblower or blade. The hardware can be installed without removing the tractor fender pan. The spring and bracket exactly fits John Deere "flat fender" model 110 tractors serial number 115,698-271,999, and model 112 tractors serial number 130,001-260,000. Two pictures show the spring mounted on a parts tractor with this serial number range. The spring will work on lower serial number tractors down to 100,001 that have an optional hook bracket installed for the front end of the spring. Likewise, the spring will work on later serial number tractors with a right brake pedal, but a taller rear bracket is needed on these so the spring clears the brake cross shaft. There is a new bolt on this assembly with nuts to serve as a tension limit. The spring has fresh paint. The phone is a land-line (no texts).
