Klipsch Forte II Speakers. Pickup only outside of Chelsea, IA

Decent looking, superb sounding. Fair cosmetic condition, but definitely “living room presentable”. Visible flaws have been photographed. Additional pictures are available as Facebook limits me to ten.

Some scratches and chipped laminate and the tops appeared to have been used as plant stands. In any conversation concerning great speakers, Klipsch Forte II’s are always mentioned.

I had these in my living room and used for both music and movies. I upgraded to Klipsch Belles in the living room (one of the pictures is the Forte II’s now sitting in my bedroom in front of my Cornwall II’s).

Prior owner(s) removed the labels from the back of the speakers. Therefore, I don’t know the date of manufacture other than between 1985 and 1996.

Cash only. I will not respond to “is it available”. I will remove the ad when sold.

The three-way Forte II was first introduced in 1985 and manufactured by Klipsch until 1996.

While no longer in production Forte II model loudspeakers are still owned and listened to by Klipsch fans around the world as part of two-channel audio and home theater surround sound systems.

The 15” passive on one of the speakers was damaged when I purchased. I repaired with a new kit from Simplyspeakers.com - SS Audio Recone Kit for 15” Klipsch KD15, KD16 Passive Radiator, Cloth Edge. Cost around $70. The passive now works perfectly but does have excess glue on it.

I refreshed the speakers with new Crites crossovers (Cost around $325). The originals will be included in the sale.

I also upgraded the tweets with new Crites Titanium Diaphragms (Cost around $90) The originals will be included in the sale.

Also included are the optional wood bases that have some chips in the laminate but are solid. I didn’t use the bases as I had the speakers sitting on other speakers.
