These are authentic pieces of Civil War hardtack dug from the Union camp grounds at Nashville, Tennessee from the Union occupation of the city starting from 1862 and including the small engagements leading up to the major historic battle known as the Battle of Nashville. Obtained legally in the 1950’s.
