This is a very large trunk measuring 36l x 20 w x 24 inches high. The outside is tin with tin covering the outside and oak slats around it to give it added strngth. The inside is good but over the years the paper walls have began to tear some. Basically it is a very sturdy trunk with no bad scratches or dents in it. The oak slats are very good and it should finish up very nicely. Some hardware is missing. The inside of the lock needs replaced and one latch needs fixed. The two leather straps to carry it are missing. parts for these old trunks are still available since people like to restore them. The trunk overall is made of metal, tin covering and oak slats and metal hardware.
