Is there anyone else out there that is unemployed that would be interrested in forming A Job Search Support Club?
I envision this as a group of people getting together to provide networking,emotional and encouragement support,job search tips,suggestions,resume help and cover letter assistance,interview preparation and just general conversation to alleviate the stress of looking for a job.
By the way,Iowa Work Force Development is a great resource as is the tremendous FREE workshops at KIrkwood Community College,open to ANY member of the community.If you have the opportunity to work with Douglas Marshall at Iowa Work Force Development,he is terrific. At Kirkwood Morris Pounds and Danielle Ebaugh are great informative resources.

What I am proposing is a casial group setting to help support, encourage and further network with one another.
